Mymensingh's achievements:
Approval of acquisition of 4366.88 acres of land for planned new divisional city and divisional headquarters.
In the departmental phase, 21 offices out of 30 started.
Most of the 24 initiatives taken for the construction of the Land Department of Janbandh upazila are being implemented.

Midday Meals have been introduced in 3,144 schools for preventing storm from children's primary school. As part of Mid Day Mill, 8,80,400 Tiffinbox students were distributed among 5,322 schools.
664 child marriages have been prevented in 2016-17. So far, 07 upazilas of child marriage have been declared free of Mymensingh 03, 3 of Jamalpur and 1 upazila of Sherpur. By 2013, all the upazilas of this division will be declared childless.
In the district level, 09, upazila level 105, municipal level 75 and union level 765 committees have been formed to eliminate terrorism and militancy. Social movement against terrorism and militancy has been developed.
The beggar rehabilitation survey has been completed. According to the survey, 422 beggars have been rehabilitated among 24,498 beggars. According to the Hon'ble Prime Minister's directive, the department will be rehabilitated for all the beggars of this division by phases in December 2012.
In order to further motivate innovative and philanthropic activities, 13 different levels of officials, 1 local public representatives, 1 social worker and educationist and 17 students of Kalsindur High School and Kalsindur Government Primary School in Dhobaura upazila of Mymensingh have been honored with crores of football players.
